What is Art Bar Pop-Up Supper Salon?

Art Bar Pop-Up Supper Salon  an informal monthly supper event. It features talented creative individuals who work in affiliated industries. Creative guests supper with ticketed guests at a huge dinner table, eat, laugh and talk for the duration of a fabulous food infused evening. 

 

Where is Art Bar Supper Salon? 

Art Bar is hosted at two locations; Pelican on Portlan Cafe, 211 Portland Road, Hove  and The Foragers Pub, 3 Stirling Place, Hove.

Our special guests are always a joy and delight and indeed always welcome at the Art Bar Supper Salon. We personally ask artists, authors, poets, performers, photographers & designers to join us. They are approached because we at Art Bar have been touched, stimulated or inspired by their work. We are curious to find out how they arrived at the present point in their creative lives . Our fabulous selection of creative individuals have one thing in common; they have a profound passion for their art and their effervescent enthusiasm is contageous. Engaging with these talented individuals and learning about their influences, inspirations and personal creative pathways sets the Art Bar Supper experience appart. Their creations are pretty awesome too!   

 

What can you expect at Art Bar Supper Salon?

You can expect a warm welcome, and a glass of wine upon arrival. You are then seated and presented with a delicious

locally sourced supper lovingly prepared on site by the chefs at our fantastic venues. Conversation flows between ticketed guests and creative billed guests. The creative guests talk candidly about their work and creative journey. Authors read passages from their

works and sign books. Photographers and Artists display their work upon the walls hung in a gallery style for viewing,  

The conversation is always interesting, enlightening and often very funny. To communicate personally with a creator builds a personal bridge. It is a memorable experience, rewarding and treasured forever, especially over a delicious meal with wine.

Why Art Bar?

Art Bar was created to give authors and artists exposure and the opportunity to engage in an informal relaxed environment with other guests who are curious about different creative processes, sources and inspirations. It is a lovely evening where the 'creative guest' can shine and ticketed guest can be inspired.
