A splendid evening of charcuterie, cheeses and vegan suppers, in the company of author Nikki Sheehan and photographer Clare Newton.

 

This is the first outing of Art Bar at Pelican. Set in the tardis that is Portland on Pelican cafe in West Hove. 

 

All food is made and prepared on site in the Pelican kitchen by super duo Melanie and Alan Pike.

An evening of interesting conversation is expected as our creative guests take us on their own personal creative journey and give us an intimate insight into their creative world. Sharing with us influences, passions and fears. Nikki will be chatting about her fab new book 'Who Framed Klaris Cliff?' A book that we at Art Bar found to be very touching as it challenges our own established perspectives about imagination, loneliness, grief and family. Nikki will be talking about what made her decide to write this particular book and how not only children but adult respond to its topic.
